Bethany + Tommy | A Magical Engagement

I can’t believe that it has already been an entire week since I was prepping for this incredible dream shoot at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom<\/a>! I mean, what better place on Earth to celebrate your love for one another than the most magical place on Earth?! <\/h3>\n

Bethany + Tommy have been coming to Disney together since pretty much their third date and he even pushed her around after she broke BOTH feet last year! They had talked about their hopes and dreams and even discussed how they saw their engagement and marriage and when it came time for Tommy to pop the question he took her to their favorite place in front of the most gorgeous castle, knelt down on one knee, and asked Bethany to spend the rest of their lives together in front of hundreds of people with fireworks and all. Seriously. NOTHING. BETTER. <\/h3>\n

So, when it came time for us to start planning where we would do their engagement session, it was a no brainier to go back to the place they fell in love.  (Which was a HUGE bonus for my Disney loving self.) <\/h3>\n

Our goal was to be able to capture a few iconic Disney photos while still being able to achieve romantic engagement photos. We met up in the late afternoon and I had scouted a few “secret” spots in MK that had that magical feeling while still looking natural and romantic. I got them set up and started asking some fun questions and within seconds they just simply fell into the groove of enjoying one another’s company and not worrying about the lens. THAT is my goal for EVERY session. ( #relationshipgoals – am I right?) <\/h3>\n

After a while we made our way over to some rides like the Carousel and Dumbo so that A) We could get some fun and playful shots and B) because we wanted to feel like kids again! Ha! <\/h3>\n

Finally we headed back up towards Cinderella’s Castle where we snapped a few iconic Castle photos- a few in the exact spot he proposed!- and we ended it with some Mickey Mouse Ice Cream, some more laughs, and gorgeous light. <\/h3>\n
