First off, we're really just glad you're here. If you're reading this it probably already means that you're our people. We are a blended family of 4 with two kids and we love travel & photography. Micah and I are always down for an adventure and we kind of like story telling if you couldn't already tell. So, if you want us to help tell your story or you just want to read other's stories... Congrats! you're in the right place!

I met with Katherine (Kappy) and Cliff a little over a year ago at a coffee shop in Mobile to discuss their desire for a destination wedding in Mobile. I must say, at first I was a little surprised to hear “Destination Wedding” and “Mobile” in conjunction, but they began to explain their story and it all made such beautiful sense! Kappy and Cliff met while both attending Spring Hill College in Mobile (Okay, technically they met on Dauphin Island) and they have been together ever since. Kappy and her family are from Atlanta while Cliff and his crew are from Birmingham. The two knew they wanted to go back to where their story began so they opted to do a classy yet whimsical ceremony and reception at the historical Ezell House in Downtown Mobile.
Patricia, the coordinator for the Ezell House, and I worked together to make sure the bride and groom had everything ready just the way they wanted it for their destination wedding. When the day came to wed Kappy + Cliff were the definition of “Cool, Calm, and Collected”. There were no apparent doubts, no anxiety, just pure excitement and joy to finally be one with their other half. When all the prep was done and we had finished a few bridal portraits it was time to have Kappy head down to meet her husband for the first time. She opened the doors to the front of the Ezell House to find Cliff waiting for her with the sweetest smile I think I have ever seen. Later when we were doing couples portraits Cliff even stated “I hope the First Look shots were good because I honestly forgot you(me-the photographer) were even there” which in my realm of reality is the best compliment I could get!
We ventured through downtown snapping some shots on our way to the Music Festival going on in the square. The band gave a shout-out to Kappy and Cliff while they danced their “first dance” on the sidewalk near the stage. Attendees of the festival were applauding, snapchatting, and instagramming the couples dance and I have to tell you- it was one of the most memorable and fun moments of my career.
The “I do’s” were sweet, the food was incredible, the cake was delicious, and the party was rocking but the thing that made this wedding a success was Kappy + Cliff. They never let situations that had potential to be stressful interrupt their happiness and they looked at eachother with the sweetest signs of love throughout the entire night. Cliff doted on Kappy and she effortlessly served him all while both of them made sure to welcome and thank their guests for attending and blessing their special day.
Here’s to you, Katherine + Cliff!
