First off, we're really just glad you're here. If you're reading this it probably already means that you're our people. We are a blended family of 4 with two kids and we love travel & photography. Micah and I are always down for an adventure and we kind of like story telling if you couldn't already tell. So, if you want us to help tell your story or you just want to read other's stories... Congrats! you're in the right place!

A lot of times I will get asked why I choose to work in the wedding industry. People are messy and that mess tends to be magnified during the stress of weddings, which is where the term “bridezilla” was coined. Some people are not called to be in the wedding world, and yes, I use the word “called” intentionally. Sometimes, weddings are stressful, people are demanding, timelines don’t go as planned, and you are working without a break for a minimum of 12 hours a day (not including all of the prep time it takes to prepare for photographing a wedding.) For me, personally, I love working in a high-paced environment especially when I get to call my own shots. (literally!) I do not negate the fact that not every wedding I have ever photographed has been sweet and beautiful and stress free, however, there are these rare moments for a wedding photographer when you get a couple who trusts you, your vision, your style, and loves each other so well that no matter what they are doing the images of them always invoke a feeling a love, joy, and romance.
Tonya and Tom were that couple for me.
It didn’t matter what idea I had, where I wanted to shoot, or what “poses” I placed them in… they were content being with one another. They were the couple that reminds someone who see’s weddings happen every weekend WHY we get married and that it’s never too late for second chances at love.
The verses found in Corinthians 13 apply well to the love seen in Tonya + Tom.

Thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of working with you and your family. I cannot express how beautiful your day was and how refreshing to my soul it turned out to be!
