First off, we're really just glad you're here. If you're reading this it probably already means that you're our people. We are a blended family of 4 with two kids and we love travel & photography. Micah and I are always down for an adventure and we kind of like story telling if you couldn't already tell. So, if you want us to help tell your story or you just want to read other's stories... Congrats! you're in the right place!
It’s been quite a long time since I had the pleasure of documenting milestones like a couple’s first pregnancy. I was definitely a bit rusty at some things but had so much fun stepping out of my comfort zone again! Jennifer is a fellow photographer (Jennifer Schiller Photography) is a Mobile native and returned home after college with her husband a few years ago. She and her husband, Ben, are the cutest and were so kind to let me hang out with them for an afternoon.
They met me at Mr. Gene’s Beans in Fairhope, Alabama for a quick bite of ice-cream and to peruse the streets of Downtown Fairhope before making our way out to the bay at sunset. Jessica Weaver, owner of the Everything Delightful Traveling Photo Booth, rented out their Vintage Volkswagen Bus for us to use for the evening and I am telling you, my soul was in love!
Ben donned an acoustic guitar and he and Jennifer sang hilarious renditions of songs like “(Sittin’ on)The Dock Of The Bay” and it was the sweetest thing I think I have ever seen. I simply love the joy that new parents have and getting to capture that excitement is such an honor.
Baby Squish (the name is a surprise!),
You are loved and are so treasured by these two sweet people!
Thanks again Jennifer and Ben!

These are ALL amazing! You have Grandma’s approval. It would be awesome to revisit this area for the 1st family photoshoot.
love love love love! So sweet and beautiful!
These are wonderful. Such tenderness and warmth. Squish is very lucky to have these photos to reflect on when older. Only thing missing is hearing them sing. Great job!!
