When Devon proposed to Haley, they had already been dating for quite a few years and knew that they wanted to do something different from the norm. They decided to book a cruise with some of their closest family and friends and say “I Do” while touring the Caribbean! Because of this, they were limited on their options for photography and decided that they would find a gorgeous venue back home, book a special day to dress back up in their wedding attire, and have their wedding portraits taken separately from their Cruise Wedding!

I was so honored to be a part of this and helped them find the most incredible vendors and venue to make their dream come to life. We found a florist- Jenna Graham of Couture Weddings & More and the floral design she arranged for Haley and Devon’s special day were beyond belief. The Imported Pink Peonies were the size of coconuts and had such a sweet aroma and when they were paired with the soft dusty blue thistles and coral ranunculus- it was drool worthy.

Cassandra, of Ever After Vintage Rentals, planned, styled, and set up a gorgeous farm style table with soft dusty blue napkins, white and blue china, pink stemmed crystal glasses and hand built white chairs that paired perfectly with her vintage sweet heart table and hand scripted Champagne bottles. I simply couldn’t contain my joy the entire day because everything was so lovely and honestly, how often do you get to spend a whole day with just your bride and groom focusing on them and all of their precious moments and details?!

The day ran much like any other wedding day. Haley began her prep in the bridal suite of The Lange Farms where her best friend and incredibly talented hair stylist did a gorgeous up-do on her and then Dena from Lasting Luxe provided flawless bridal make up. We got shots of her putting on her earrings, shoes, dress, all of it. 

Then it came time for Haley and Devon to begin their portrait part of the shoot. We all laughed as I gave them hilarious prompts and interacted with them and then we made our way through each “station” of a wedding day. 

We had an arbor, a sweetheart table, a guest table, cake, and even some “Thank You” bottles so that they still received the full experience of a wedding day. 

This whole process was such a joy and honor to be a part of and I am happy to announce that Haley and Devon are now expecting their first child, a son- Sebastian, soon! 

Haley + Devon, thank you so much for letting me be a part of this time in your lives, for your friendship, trust, and most of all- patience in sharing these images! The magazine publications are totally going to be worth the wait! <3
