First off, we're really just glad you're here. If you're reading this it probably already means that you're our people. We are a blended family of 4 with two kids and we love travel & photography. Micah and I are always down for an adventure and we kind of like story telling if you couldn't already tell. So, if you want us to help tell your story or you just want to read other's stories... Congrats! you're in the right place!
Daniella & Michael | Engagement | Lower Peach Tree, Alabama
March 17th, 2018
Daniella and Michael chose to have their engagement shoot on Michael’s family property in Lower Peach Tree, Alabama. Perhaps you have heard of the King-Criswell Plantation house in Uriah, Alabama? Well, Michael is a direct descendant of the King lineage. When we arrived at the property, Daniella began sharing with me a lot of the history that went into the land. It was a working plantation at one point in time, and held it’s own community on the property, equipped with a post office & corner store which are still standing today.
The fact that Michael grew up here learning the stories and living life on this land made this session so much sweeter. It was important to Daniella that we photograph their session in a place that would serve as a legacy later on in life.
Daniella and Michael are flying off to Alaska to elope later this year, and trust me, I WISH I could fly off with them! Their goal for eloping is to be able to take their wedding day and spend it focusing on the love they share between the two of them. Fulling taking in the moment and adventuring in new places.
Daniella, thank you for all you have done in supporting me, my business, and our friendship. It is such a pleasure getting to grow my friendship with you and watch you find your happiness in life. Michael, thank you for loving my friend & treating her the way she deserves. Whatever you do, don’t dull her sparkle. (insert wink emoji here!)
